prompt vii response

your daily allotment of emo string and random-ass bird skulls:

This came out as less of a phobia and more of an anxiety: something ambiguous about being trapped and vulnerable and lost. My actual phobias are failure and injections (not at the same time) and I didn't feel like drawing those.

(clumsily applied texture from here)

(oh hey I'm new here, hi.)

prompt vii response

my first time posting here, fffffffrrrrrr hi. HEY TIT WARNING, NSFW AND ALL THAT there is a nipple, etc. i was going to add clothes, but i really didn't feel like it by the time i got around to it.

i particularly have a thing where i'm afraid im going to loose one of my limbs, particularly my hands. now that would just suck, really. my other fears all end up tying into loosing a body part some way or another in the end, so i guess this is my worst fear. oh uh just to clarify this isnt a self portrait of any kind, um, just a chick who lost her hands

im bad at posting publically hi

Prompt VII: Your choice - PHOBIA

So, so very sorry about the random promptless week. Things have been a little hectic, but I'll try to have everything on time from now on. (If it gets any worse, I'll appoint someone to take charge.)

Thanks very much for everyone's input when I asked for your ideas for prompt VII. This week, due February 1st by 12AM, is "Phobia".

This can be a fear/phobia of yourself, a character, anything. If you feel like expressing this fear in visuals or text would be triggering in some way, maybe try to approach it from a more conceptual and abstract angle.

Have at it, comrades.

Prompt VI Response

I
I DON'T EVEN

A couple years ago me and some friends made this derpy superhero universe. One of the archnemesis..'s of the three "superheroes" was Toy Soldier, who was actually a guy who worked in a hobby shop the main heroes messed with a lot, and he could make toys come to life and shit. And they totally knew each others secret identities but they're too retarded to you know, make use of that. They just liked to go into each others work places and be all "HURR HURR YOU ARE DUMB I'MA KILL YOU LATER. AFTER I GET OFF WORK AND GO HOME AND EAT DINNER AND FEED MY PETS IDK MAYBE TOMORROW INSTEAD. IS THAT GOOD FOR YOU?"

Basically my train of thought was: doomsday device = super heroes = really ridiculous villains with weather machines = this retarded universe = toy soldier with DOOMSDAY TOY (which was going to be like Voltron or some shit but turned into Raggedy Ann IDKKKK)

This is my dorky doomsday device, complete with giant button that you totally should not touch but probably will anyways. Curiosity and all that. >:D

Prompt VII: YOUR CHOICE

For Prompt VII/7, it's up to you to come up with prompt ideas. Post your ideas here and one will be randomly chosen for next week.

Thanks so much for any and all input, and good luck on this week's prompt!

Prompt VI info

Ah! A new prompt! Could it be true?! It could be if you want it to be --! Thanks all for participating during the past weeks and sorry for disappearing for a while. I hope you've all been having a wonderful holiday season, or, if sans holidays, I hope you've just been enjoying yourselves.

So, on with this week's prompt.

It is...

Doomsday [device]

As always, you're free to respond in whatever way you feel like. Prose, poetry, photography, music, and, of course, drawings. There are no limits to how you feel like conveying the theme in your image.

Due Monday, January 18th at midnight

Prompt I

This is for the winter journey prompt.

These are my characters Wellow (left) and Lon (right). They would pretty much fail at winter and snowtime cause they're both desert doods. I imagine Wellow reading the map upside down and Lon complaining the whole time. orz;;

Prompt II Response

I've been a lurker here, just taking in all of your lovely stuff.

Thanks for the extension, I'm glad to finally have something to contribute.
I just drew my character De because he's such a source of comfort to me.
I'd also drawn a nude self-portrait recently and got to wondering. Bodies are very expressive.

Prompt I extension

I'm extending the deadline for Prompt I (Winter Journey) until this Monday. In fact, if you have any unfinished things you wanted to post but was unable to, and can get them in before then, that's fine too. Then the new prompt for 2010 will start up this Monday (January 4th).

Hope you're all having a lovely night and that 2010 starts and continues swimmingly.
